DESCRIPTION
We had to create a background with texture underneath a masked picture of an athlete of our choosing, by creating three brushes of our own. I chose Charonda Williams. I created three unique brushes to create a blue textured background.
PERSONAL GOAL
My goal was to make the athlete look really cool and intense. I wanted to create a different texture to really have her stand out. I was set on creating a “poster” that an athlete would actually pay for so they could post it on social media, etc. And to have that happen, you need to make it look like it was professionally made. I believe that I accomplished that goal to the best of my ability.
DIFFICULTIES
My difficulty was is creating the three brushes since I had no real idea on what kind of texture that I wanted to create. Also, when we were taught as a class on how to create our own brushes, I got lost and I became confused on how to make them. It took me a while until I figured out how to do this, but after that it only got easier.
