DESCRIPTION
For this project, we had to learn and integrate the Double Exposure method in Photoshop. First, we went to YouTube and looked up tutorials on how to use the Double Exposure and the steps we needed to master in order to make them look really nice. Then, after feeling comfortable with the steps, we applied them in Photoshop. The entire class was supposed to apply the method to one universal picture ( it was of Abraham Lincoln ) but I had not fully read the directions and I chose a different picture to use.
PERSONAL GOAL
My personal goal was to master the method so I could really make my file stand out, and that I could use what I learned in other projects down the road. I wanted to show that I really learned how to properly integrate Double Exposure into my project. I feel like I accomplished that, and even if I didn’t use the right file, I think that I showed how I can take in what I learn and then execute it.
DIFFICULTIES
I feel like my main difficulty while doing this project was that you had to be very precise and pay very close attention to detail when masking and vectoring the layers. Vectoring is not my strong suit, so I found that extremely challenging, but in the end my finished product looked like I had put in my best effort, which I did.
